New civil administrators took over: Lewis H. Hanthorn at Ponape and Robert D. Law at Truk.

What happened

Under the Navy, each district had a civil administrator from September 1947 until Interior took over in July 1951. Hanthorn served at Ponape until September 1950, and Law at Truk until June 1951.
