Compact Trust Fund balance reaches $1.98B.

What happened

The trust fund began with the FSM’s $30 million deposit in 2004 and was built up by yearly US deposits. It is meant to give the FSM income after Compact grants end. Under the renewed Compact the US added $500 million by the end of FY2025.
