US Navy’s Pacific Partnership 2025 humanitarian mission opens in Chuuk.
What happened
The US Navy describes Pacific Partnership as its largest multinational humanitarian and disaster-relief mission in the Pacific. Simina and Governor Alexander Narruhn attended the opening in Weno. A 2019 Pacific Partnership team had helped the Lower Mortlocks recover from Typhoon Wutip.
