At the Forum meeting in Palau, Simina chairs the Pacific Islands Conference of Leaders talanoa, signs for an ADB North Pacific office, and joins leaders restoring the Peace Corps.

What happened

Simina signed with ADB President Masato Kanda to open the bank’s North Pacific Subregional Office in the FSM. With other North Pacific leaders he restored a Peace Corps partnership with the US; Peace Corps volunteers had first arrived in the islands in 1966.
