More Carolinian immigrants from Lamotrek arrive in the Marianas (document title in Lévesque’s source collection).

What happened

Carolinians from the central Caroline atolls had been migrating to the Marianas since about 1815, and Governor Medinilla allowed them to settle on Saipan in 1819. This record is known only from a document title in Lévesque’s source collection, which also lists an earlier arrival from Lamotrek in 1819.
