Eugène Delessert visits Okat aboard the Minerva; two Englishmen come aboard.

What happened

The ship Minerva, sailing from Sydney to China, stopped for provisions. Two white men came out by canoe, and the MicSem list says they treated the islanders as slaves. Passenger Eugène Delessert went ashore in an armed boat to trade small gifts, but the ship got no provisions and left for Guam.
