What happened

Cabello Berdún, using Spanish archives, counts 118 Spanish dead and 87 wounded across the revolts of 1887–1890 and gives a cost of 14,110.82 pesos, while MicSem says Spain lost 118 men and nearly 200,000 pesos in the 1890 war alone. No source used here counts Pohnpeian dead, apart from Moya’s claims of more than 100 enemy casualties at Ohwa and about 200 at Ketam.
