Five Capuchins arrived in May (Frs. Estanislao de Guernica and Bernardo de Sarria and three lay brothers), and three more, including Fr. José de Tirapu, came about the same time. The same year a mail ship brought copies of Fr. Agustín’s Pohnpeian dictionary.
