District officer Senfft returns Ulithians who had drifted to the Visayas.

What happened

Senfft sailed to Ulithi on the steamer Natuna, and Chief Follebu of Yap came along as a sign of Yap’s regional authority over the outer islands. The Ulithians welcomed the party with a traditional dance. Senfft’s report described Ulithi’s houses, canoes and food and noted widespread plant disease on the atoll.
