About 120 Micronesians have finished year-long agricultural training at stations on Ponape, Saipan and Palau.

What happened

Schooling beyond the three to five years of public school was very limited for Micronesians. The year-long agricultural course at government stations was one of a few short in-service programs; others covered sanitation, post office work, crafts and blacksmithing.
