Japan provides about $1.9M in non-project grant aid; FSM sends typhoon relief to the Philippines.

What happened

Japan and the FSM signed the grant notes on 26 December 2013. The relief followed Typhoon Haiyan: on 13 December Mori had signed a law giving $225,000 for relief in the Philippines, Palau, Yap and Vietnam, and on 23 December he handed over the FSM’s help at a ceremony in his office.
