What happened

This was a midterm election for the ten two-year seats; the four at-large seats, and so the presidency, were not on the ballot. In Pohnpei District 2, Jermy Mudong edged out Quincy Lawrence, 37.7% to 35.8%. Five members were re-elected unopposed.
