What happened

Cantero, previously Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs, replaced Lorin Robert, who died in November 2025. In the same session Congress approved sending the FY2027 Compact budget request to the US and thanked the Pohnpei Women’s Council for relief sent to Chuuk.
