The English schooner Black Dog arrives carrying native women and rum.

What happened

A crew journal describes the Sydney trading schooner Black Dog, which stayed three days, as “carrying native women and rum.” That same year, the COM-FSM outline notes, Rev. Snow ordered adulterers to confess publicly at the mission, while the new king, Lepalik II, sent women down to the ships.
