Lepalik II dies a week after seizing church land; Awane Salik II, opposed to Christianity, succeeds (to 1874).
What happened
The COM-FSM outline says Lepalik II died suddenly while supervising the replanting of land he had taken from the Christian congregation a week before. His successor, Awane Salik II, also opposed Christianity and ruled until he was deposed in 1874.
