The Caroline (Felix Becker) leaves a resident trader on Ulul.

What happened

Felix Becker’s trading schooner Caroline dropped a resident trader on Ulul in the Namonuito group, called at Chuuk and the Mortlocks, and left with a full load of copra. Traders kept coming, and by about 1900 some 35 were working in Chuuk.
