What happened

Robert and Mary Logan had first worked in the Mortlocks, landing at Oneap on Lukunor in 1879, before illness forced them away in 1881. In Chuuk they found churches already on four lagoon islands, and Logan became known for peace-making trips during island wars, carrying a black umbrella as a sign of neutrality.
