Rebel leader Jomatau (Soumadau en Sokehs, Samuel) surrenders; the last followers give up by 22 February.
What happened
German files repeatedly note Jomatau’s military skill but record little else about his life or aims. Riesenberg, cited by Wikipedia, describes him as a lower-ranking section chief rather than the paramount chief of Sokehs. Wikipedia says he gave himself up with five followers, worn down by hunger and the other chiefdoms’ refusal to help.
