Olter won Pohnpei’s four-year seat with 5,557 votes to Falcam’s 4,898, with two other candidates further back. In Kosrae, Vice President Nena beat Yosiwo George by 1,874 to 1,484, according to early figures. Keeping their at-large seats allowed both men to be chosen again as president and vice president.
