What happened

This was Mori’s first official visit to the People’s Republic of China, made at Beijing’s invitation to strengthen ties. Besides meetings in Beijing, his delegation was scheduled to visit fisheries, aviation and renewable-energy companies and sites in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Shenzhen.
