What happened
Simina won Chuuk’s seat with 60% over Gillian Doone, and Christian won Pohnpei’s over former governor John Ehsa and others. In Kosrae, Yosiwo George beat Alik Alik. These four senators formed the pool from which Congress chose the next president and vice president.
