FSM History

Snow reports little progress in morals or growth of the faith.

What happened

Eight years after arriving, Snow saw little change, while King Lepalik II (reigned 1858–1863) was considered a “pagan.” In 1861 Snow noted better church attendance, but also a revival of the Kosraean religion.
