Twenty-two survivors of the wrecked bark Norna reach the lagoon in an open boat and are held captive.
What happened
The British bark Norna was wrecked at Oroluk, and its survivors sailed an open boat to Chuuk, where canoes seized their belongings and took them captive. Four lascars later escaped to Tol, where people treated them kindly, and others reached Nama and Losap; the MicSem list says the captives were held at “Liman” (Uman) and Hezel says on Fefan.
